In 1922 Ernest U. Buchi climbed onto a street car in Nashville, Tennessee, carrying his box of plumbing tools … and Buchi Plumbing was born. Since that time, the Buchi family has been involved continuously in the plumbing business in the Middle Tennessee area.

In 1945, after serving in the US Army during World War II, Ernest’s son Harold U. Buchi joined the family business. Then in 1965, also after serving in the US Army, Harold’s son E. Clark Buchi joined Buchi Plumbing - the third generation of Buchis. Today Buchi Plumbing is run by Clark, a Vanderbilt Engineering School graduate, and Ronald Dorris, an accounting graduate from David Lipscomb University.

We are a full service plumbing company solving all sorts of plumbing problems. On any given day we may be working for grocery stores, gas stations, apartment complexes, restaurants, dairies, laundries, churches, manufacturing plants, office complexes, retail stores, and of course residences.

For our commercial customers, we regularly take care of:

• servicing backflow preventers, water meters or fire hydrants
• repairing underground water or sewer leaks
• repairing commercial sinks or servicing public restrooms

For our residential clients, we often take care of:
